Meet The Challenge of Clean Water

GSAcontract_bigMilitary forces throughout the world are faced daily with a myriad of challenges.  Often, obtaining suitable drinking water is one of those challenges.  As one of life’s necessities, water is critical to the performance of the military.  As the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and diplomatic security have discovered, the First Water technology and specially engineered systems uniquely meet the challenge.  This is one of the reasons the First Water products are listed with US GSA Purchasing, and why all products meet the sole source requirements of government.

All the First Water systems utilize military grade components.  The products are engineered to provide what is important for military use:

  • DURABILITY:  First Water products are made from the most durable components possible.
  • SIMPLICITY:  First Water products are designed to be operated with very little training needed.
  • RELIABILITY:  First Water products do not include unnecessary add-ons such as gauges, switches, etc. that can break and jeopardize product operation.
  • SECURITY:  First Water products reduce the amount of light from electrical components and noise from moving parts to ensure maximum security.
  • FLEXIBILITY:  First Water products are powered by several sources, and have many military applications

The First Water technology has been utilized in many different areas and under many scenarios.  Special Forces have utilized the Responder™ family of products in South America, the Middle East and in Asia.  The Outpost™ family of products are perfect for Forward Operating Bases or other areas where more personnel are present.  Additionally some military forces are increasing their focus on rebuilding in areas of conflict.  In these instances, the Outpost Series of products can be utilized to pump water from fresh water sources, filter and disinfect the water, and produce suitable drinking water to those in need.  The Villager™ family of products can also be utilized if a facility receives water, but it is unsuitable for drinking.  Importantly, regardless of the product, First Water products eliminate the concern for power.  All products are available in DC, AC and solar power.  The Responder™ family is also available in 24 Volt.
