Clean Water for a Thirsty World

DSCN1392The problems facing the world’s water supply are well documented.  Clean water for drinking, sanitation, cooking and medical needs is simply not available in many parts of the world.  In most of these places, contaminated or compromised water is available from wells, surface rivers, lakes, and government water systems, but the use of it for human needs leads to numerous health issues and death.  The suffering and untimely deaths of the world’s children and fragile populations is a tragedy that can be reversed.

First Water is committed to bringing the world the best water purification capability possible in both mobile and fixed-in-place solutions, regardless of electrical power availability.  Whether it is dealing with natural disasters that leave even the most prosperous without access to clean water, or helping developing areas have reliable clean water for daily life, First Water is resolved to develop the systems that transform communities and save lives.  In the course of pursuing that mission, First Water has developed systems featuring full and semi-portability, true integrated solar power, larger capacities, optional chlorination, etc.

Welcome to our website.  We hope you will find answers to the two most pressing questions facing the humankind in the new millenium:

  1. how can clean water be brought to victims of natural disasters in a timely and safe way, and
  2. how can developing areas of the world have access to affordable clean water.
